Hi ..yes the time has passed quick to us but to my friend he told me each day is so slow ..however its 3 months ago since I posted here and only 2 weeks left and he will be back to his homeland ....I do hope things improve over there, its not looking to good at the moment.

I have to think positive and pray for my friend for his safe returne to Egypt ...my prays and peace to all ... a extra pray for Wayan in Bali .. x

Yes elimay.. i can only imagine the torture your poor friend must be going through.. each day must seem endless. But now hopefully their is light at the end of the tunnel.

Just 7 days to go and my friend will be flying back to Cairo ,the days have been long and hard for him and spiritual in may ways .... do you guys remember the taxi I told you about!and he would sell it to be able to pay for the operation for this cancer !

Well he told me last week his dying wish is to see me once again and he will send E ticket to me to go to Cairo as soon as he sells the taxi .... I have told him he must get this operation or give the money to his kids ,but he wont hear of it when I say this to him .He want to see me and asked me to respect his wishes !

what a guy !! 3month or waiting to go back to Cairo to see his family and get this op and now he says he wants me to have a ticket to go and be with him .... Yeah he is a guy in a million and I should respect what he is asking ,but how can I when he has 3 kids ... Please has anyone got anything to say about this new situation I find myself in >>

dont touch it with a barge pole - u will be one of many falling for this sad stupid trap. I live here and i can assure you that truth is an unknown commodity amongst the vast majority let alone egyptian men with english women because we are too kind and too stupid.

and yes, i do have the right to say this here. English people have honesty almost as second nature - their way of doing things here is to do whatever necessary to get what they want so they dont see it as lying - it is just surviving.

you can say whatever you like ...and I have no problem you doing this ,but perhaps it would have helped if maybe you read a all my post on here or maybe you did and still assume we are all the same ...not all women are stupid as you think ,I am not one of these so called women ... perhaps you yourself have been taken in by some man ! (with this sad stupid trap) i have no idea or do I wish to know ...
please don't judge every Egyptian man or English women as being like you assume to be ...

As mentioned by Sandra, Mo and several others - if every one had a heart as big as yours the world would be a fantastic place to be, honestly.

I can understand both sides of the fence: you are frustrated and he is scared. A very difficult mixture at the best of times. I can also understand the position that your friend is in. He wants to tell his family about his illness face-to-face, not over the phone - imagine him hearing the cries of despair from his nearest and dearest and him not being able to comfort them in person - that would be torture to both parties. Please do not think him selfish, he is being selfless.

Every one is praying for you both, with this many wishes he will be home and comfortable before you know it. Trust in your own God, and I will ask my angels to assist too, but as you know the good die young and if your does pass over remember what you said previously: everything happens for a reason.

i judge by what I see and the culture which I deeply understand. Living here, marrying them and having only Egyptian friends helps understand the culture a lot.I love Egypt and Egyptians but I know them very well. God bless.

what I find interesting is I sought to help you and you assume I also am taken in and a fool. I merely wanted to shed some light on the vast majority of women who do not understand their culture and how they are and how they think and yes I do mean most. Don't thank me for trying to protect you though or anyone thinking the same - I might be wrong and thats ok but thousands and thousands of others might have been glad that I took the time to write as many many many have been duped happy spending baby - be aware thought that most have more flats than you, more money than you and buy properties for their family everywhere whilst claiming they have no cash. Again God bless you as you seek to do what is right - there is no harm in that - just wanted to put a word of warning out - or did it hit a nerve sweetie.

Don't you think I have heard it all before ..normally from women who have been tricked.

All I do is help as much as I can when I have a friend . it could be you who needs help one day, and if I was your friend I would do the same for you.

I know as much as you about some men who take the women for all they can, flats money visa whatever ! not only in Arab countries .hear in the Uk it happens all the time.

Good Afternoon to you Chuckles.

Thank you for your message and your prayers ,I am just a normal women.I am no one special and I am certainly no pushover as some people seem to think I am , however it has been harder for him and thank god he will leave Bali on Sunday 21 July and be in Cairo 23.long time flying time but cheaper airfare.

I will fly to Cairo as soon as I can ... He is hoping to sell his taxi and send me an E ticket ..he thinks his cancer is to far gone now to have operation or even make it back to Cairo ,hope to god he will make it .. its his last wish to see me again. I can pay for my own ticket but he insist he buys it if he sell taxi ..if he don't sell it I wont be going .. his request his wishes .. Sad I know but I have always respected and excepted his ways and culture. as he has mine in may ways .. 

We will see what happens about the operation !! I am hopping he will change his mind once he talks with his family.I have had some wonderful information from people off here which I have sent on to him,

Your right ,he didn't want to call his sisters or text them with such bad news .but as it has been said on here sometimes its the way Egyptian men are.

Of course Ash scammers are all around the world .

I don't like to think that some people think it is only Arab countries when it is clearly not.

Only last week I heard of a women scamming a man of all his money and his home some have no shame and some are professional scammers it works both ways !not only man against women.
