Hello everyone, I'm currently living in Go Cong just outside HCM. I'm just working on my bachelors degree at the moment, but looking for work so I can apply for a work visa. I want to stay here in Vietnam, but the tourist visa having a max of 6 months worries me. Been here for almost 2 months, and I'm extending my current visa for the max of another 3 months. If anyone knows of any legitimate work for a US. Citizen in Saigon please let me know. Thanks!

Grab a 1 year business visa, do a border run and come back in.

Hi,
I am looking to move out to Vietnam in January 2018, is it possible to get a 1 year visa prior to departure or only when doing the border crossing after arrival?

You can apply for the 1 year visa on arrival at the airport. First contact an agent who does this online.
