The average person makes about 500 JD a month or less, so it's pretty impossible to put money away for savings! But, to be thrifty, try to buy local items, as anything imported is very expensive. Stay away from buying in the fancy malls or areas, things will be more than twice as much in some areas than others. Same with housing.
