Hi, i applied to renew my tourist visa last week. When i returned today, they told me to come back in 2 weeks because they needed to carry out security checks because i had already renewed it 5 times. Actually this year i renewed it only twice. Before that i was in UK for 3 months (and in Egypt before that). Does anyone know if this is normal? will i get a visa?

Yes , it is normal . I got it like that before ,
mine was to getting 5 year residency. after 20 days of waiting period, I got it eventually.

h, thanks for your reply but my visa was for tourism not residency-so i'm thinking there may be different proceedures?
