A few years ago I posted enquiry on this but it appeared that there were no places available from which you could hire a kayak for a few days. Visiting again this year and wondered if the situation has changed. So basically looking for a kayak or two to hire in late July /early August, anyone know where one could be got? I know hotels have them but they are just for guests and we will not be staying in an hotel.

The prices quoted are for Mauritian Citizen's or those with Residence Permits so you may have to pay the higher rate.

That's great. Not sure what the prices will be like later in year but at least now I know we can hire kayaks ans do a little bit of exploring. We use them at home so know how great they are for getting to those little hidden places/islands etc.
