Hello,
coming over in the summer, between june and july probably
Just wondering though, because im meeting up with some old mates in cairo, they're visiting from the uk, where can we find a nice pub that isnt too expensive, because ive been to cairo once before and the prices have not been too calm on me as the only places i knew that served alcohol were hotels. so where can i find a nice pub, that isnt too rough, that serves an alright variety of drink?

Beers at pubs or hotels are always very expensive. One place you can try is the Euroclub in Heliopolis which caters for foreigners & Egyptian too. The booze there is reasonably 'priced' although you have to buy vouchers and exchange them for the booze.

Another alternative is to order your own booze delivered at your place from drinkies.net. I find the prices reasonable and delivery is usually prompt.
