Perhaps you could elaborate a little? Your profile shows that you are English and in London, so why are you looking for answers on an expat site? However, based on your initial posting I'd say walking or cycling for short distances. Perhaps an electric scooter if that is permitted. I usually take the tube or a bus when I am in London or a taxi when I'm in a hurry.
