Looks like this move may happen in February and I'd be looking to buy a real cheap car. What UK websites would be the best to look for one?

I agreed with Marjod64 Autotraders are the best website to find used cars in the UK. Also try the local car traders near you.

Go with eBay motors or gum tree every time....I bought a car on eBay for 100 quid, it lasted a year and worked well, but then failed its mot....I then sold it for £50 scrap...win!

guntree.co.uk is a bit of a hit and miss.. potential for cut-n-shut junk from dodgy geezers that got booted from ebay... Ebay is my first choice
