moving to Canada

Moving to British Columbia or maybe Alberta to follow my man and his job. Looking for a nice place to buy a home and make a family. Any suggestions? I also am looking for a Pre-school teaching job. Any suggestion would be invited!

I would say look at two things...climate and taxes for both. They are very different. Hardly any taxes to pay in Alberta because of the oil, whereas we're taxed to death here in Vancouver, BC.

The weather is vastly different too...we've had no Spring this year and the sun is yet to shine for more than two days here in Vancouver...rain for the last twelve days!

I find folk very friendly anywhere outside the Vancouver area...say from Coquitlam out. Canadians are very nice but very private nearer to the city.

PS we have been here for ten years but are now planning to go to Spain:o
