[Question] Cost of Living in Buenos Aires and info about taxes?

I plan to move to Argentina in 4 years, as it's my mom's country. I already have dual citizenship for Argentina, thanks to my mom.

I want to send my kids to private school, as my mom said that public schooling would be a bad idea. My aunt, who was born and raised in Argentina, still lives in Argentina and says public school is a "death sentence for a kid's education." She lives in Bahia Blanca, for reference.

I currently live in the US.

I was wondering how much I would need to be making monthly to afford the followingg:
* good internet connection for a family
* data service for a family
* a nice house with a yard or backyard of sorts with room for a family
* private education per child
* a car ( I might buy one and then ship it to Argentina)
* keeping technology updated (nothing too ridiculous, just enough money to buy a laptop or new phone as necessary)
* the monthly cost of raising a child (not including schooling)
* groceries

* some sort of emergency savings
* some sort of regular savings (for gifts and the like)

About taxes, I want to know how much they would tax on income. What other types of taxes do they have in Argentina?

For starters, ask your mom and your aunt, they should be able to give you some idea.

The IVA (Impuesto al Valor Agregado) on purchases is 21%.

Here's an article that lists 166 taxes that people may end up paying in Argentina:

https://www.infobae.com/economia/2020/0 … argentina/

There are 42 national taxes, 41 provincial taxes, and 83 municipal surcharges or valuations...

This talks about the general taxation system:

Another, a PDF that talks about Argentina's overall tax system:

Thank you for the information on taxes! I will thoroughly ring those articles dry!
