I am considering an offer in Mauritius and I need all the advice I can get.

Hello Gil,

I moved to Mauritius from Canada. The best advice I could give you is to move for the good reasons.
I found everything I was looking for in Mauritius but everything is not perfect on paradise island (especially right now).
Be prepared, read as much info as you can before coming like Expat.com guide as Diksha just suggested.
If you have more precise questions, I'll be happy to share my experience.
