Hello all,
If I buy a used car from a Belize friend to use while living in Belize for a few months will I be able to register and get insurance with out any problems. Will I need an international drivers license for this or will my Canadian one be good. Thanks for any info you have.

no problem buying and insuring, , Canadian licence valid for one year. seller and buyer both have to sign the transfer document, at the time of transfer and inspection. no idea whether separate signatures can be accepted.

Thank you for your reply. As the seller is a friend it will not be a problem to go together to register.
