Marriage with a Slovak Citizen

Hi, I am an indian national, and am getting married to a Slovak citizen in June. I was wondering if someone could help me regarding the process about the kind of visa I should first go to Slovakia on, how much time the process is going to take and how complicated it is? Also do we need to provide some financial info too regarding my visa to stay there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
