I am British citizen who has been offered a role in Kuwait on a 2 year contract. Is there anyone who can provide guidance on a tax efficient way of receiving payment back into the UK? I understand I would need to become a non UK resident to qualify for the tax free benefits but does this mean I would need to open a Company and bank account in Kuwait and direct my payment into there? Or is going through an Umbrella company in Kuwait better?

Any little or large help around this will be hugely appreciated

I know the post of yours was some time ago, but did you get an answer? I ask as I'm in a similar position and wondering how to be ‘tax efficient'.
