Hello All,
I would also like to get some information regarding my profession. I have done my certificate course for one and a half year in India with another 6 months of practical training. My certificates need to be recognized in Germany. At present working as a Head Chef for one restaurant in Germany but I would be very happyif I could have my certificates recognized. I have B1 and now will start B2. Anybody in Gastronomy who could guide me would be of great help. Thanking in advance.

You should approach the relevant trade body ("Handwerkskammer" or "Innung") for your profession to ask what to do to get to get your foreign certificates recognised. You might have to pass certain tests or attend additional lessons.
