Jobs in Santiago

Post new topic

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and looking for any advice you can give :)
My husband and I want to move to Santiago, Chile next year, prob around April 2019.
We don't have any jobs lined up and wanted to know the best way to go about this. I have a TEFL cert (no degree) and have some experience as volunteer. Basic Spanish only. I also have 5 years experience in HR Recruitment and many years in administration.
My husband works for a Engineering Construction company in Quality Management with very basic Spanish.
We are open to any opportunities to work and live in the city.
Any advice on the best way to approach this would be amazing. TIA

Hi Angela:
Although it's a shortcoming the management of Spanish language, for sure there are job opportunities for engineers as it's your husband. Actually with the reactivation of the mining industry there might be opportunities there. I recommend to check Becthel and mining companies devoted to this industry.
Regards

Felix
