Car sale after expat has left Bahrain

I am relocating out of Bahrain. My company will cancel my RP upon my exit.
However I own a car that isn't sold yet. I anticipate it will be sold after I leave the country.
I spoke to a friend who deals in cars to help sell it and have handed my ownership documents to him.  I haven't signed any other documents with him yet.

My question is how will the ownership of the car change after it is sold; when my CPR would have been cancelled by that time.
What do I need to do now?

Make sure to have a clear contract. The visa gets cancelled but the cpr number remains in the system for a while. All sales can be handled via a power of attorney but make sure your friend can be trusted before giving it.

Thanks a bunch! This makes sense.

Hi, can you tell me where can I get this power of attorney for selling the car?

Whichever court authority issues it in your home country.  Then get it attested by Bahrain Embassy.   In Bahrain, it is the notary public in GOSI mall.
