Traffic in Poland

Hello everyone,

Which city or area do you live in in Poland, and how do you find the traffic?

How long does it take to commute to work or run errands?

Is there a rush hour in your city? What times of the day would you recommend people to avoid driving if they can?

Are there any ways to avoid spending too much time in traffic in Poland?

What is parking availability and cost like?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Driving and traffic in cities like Wroclaw are challenging, but successive governments have made considerable progress in this area. The real problem is drivers, who range generally from skilled though rather too brave, to lethal morons. If you're driving only 10 km. over the speed limit on a major road, they'll take it as a personal insult. Suicidal passing is rife.

Drive only when you really need to. Train services have improved markedly, are inexpensive and will save your nerves.
