Polish Driving Licence with no expiry date.

After living in Poland for many years my wife and I have moved to UK where she uses her Polish licence. It is a photo card type with no EU symbols and does not have an expiry date. She has read somewhere online that she must exchange it for EU style one that also has a fixed expiry date.
Does anyone know whether this is true? If so can you direct to an online site preferably in English but if in Polish I can try Google translate.

Hi

I know that every newly-issued driving licences in Poland have validity date now. It is maximum for 10 years but it can be for a year and certified doctors decide this (e.g. eye-sight test, if you wear glasses etc.).
There are no driving licences for unlimitted time anymore.
