Hello everyone,

Finding affordable housing in Foz do Iguaçu is number one priority for newcomers. Tell us more about the estate market in your district/city/region.

What are the most desired places to live? What are the most affordable ones? What is the average cost of a rented flat? And what is the average sale price for an appartment or a house? Could you tell us more about local real estate policies/procedures? What about property tax or residency tax in Foz do Iguaçu?

What about you? Where do you live now? Is it a place you would recommend?

Thank you in advance for your clarifications.

Property price can range  from very low to high for "gated" vilas or condos.
Me I was lucky when I visited and found a nice 3 bed 4 bath, pool and house keeper quarters and an area game room. Cost was less than  200.000 mil near a green area, hospital and shopping. Downtown is onlt 5  minutes away.
As said there are low income rentals and high end condos.
Gated areas are very expensive to many. There re areas from farm land to Centro Condos/
