Hi,

I'm sure I read when buying a car the person you're buying from goes with you to register it.

Is this the case ? Surely there's reports of muggings etc given you'd have cash ?

when we bought we didnt have to go at all, they did it all for us - and registration was included in the sale price, but we didnt buy private so maybe its different.
