Keeping up with the news in Italy

Hello everyone,

Living in Italy provides countless occasions to browse local newspapers, listen to local radio stations or watch local TV shows. As everywhere else in the world, local media play a key role in informing the public.

What are the major media in Italy? Which one do you use on a regular basis?

How do you keep up with international issues (newspapers, radio, TV, Internet)?

Thank you in advance!

Priscilla

My go- to news source in Italy is the 'Drudge Report' online.
And for gossip and comic relief, it's 'Buzzfeed' online.

Well, I am a former journalist who worked for both US and Italian new organs. I don't read nearly as many Italian news sources as before, nor as often, but for things Italian I would first and foremost read Corriere della Sera and the Cronaca di Roma section of the Messaggero. I also listen regularly to Sky News. For other news, I read - online - the New York Times and less frequently The Guardian and Le Monde. CNN every day.
