We hear that an extremely dangerous hurricaine is about to hammer Mexico. I hope that you will all make it through unscathed. Im stll safely in Canada. Good luck and may God be with you all.

Well I was right in the middle of hurricane Patricia on the coast of Jalisco and my house is fine. It's the poorer people with palapa or lamina roofs that did not fare well

NOAA and the State Department wouldn't know about those people.

Local stations in Puebla, Monterrey and Vetacruz certainly did and directed preople in the path to shelters on high ground.

A number I saw was that there were around 800 of them in the most affected states.

I wouldnt be surprised if there is a serious effort to rebuild.

I hope there is Government aid because many of these people can't afford a whole new roof

I hope they're getting government help, regardless of the type of life they live. Fingers crossed.
