Hi all,

Apologise for being away for so long. I've been keeping an eye, but the wedding planning has kept me away. I'm back because I'm hoping to make friends, and because frankly my wife & I need help.

We're trying to book a song for our first dance in December, and we're going for a salsa. My wife is a pretty good dance, whereas I move like a drunk ironing board. Please could you help me on two things
1) Can you recommend a decent salsa for a first dance
2) Can you recommend a good salsa instructor that is available on weekends. My wife is often not home until 7:30 or 8pm on week nights as they're short handed at her work. We need an instructor to help me dance better and to help us put a routine together. We're a tad short on money as well. Let me emphasise that; we're on a budget because of the way things have gone, so we can't afford a very expensive instructor.

We live in the South of Quito, in case you need to know that.

Now for my birthday, which is on Thursday. My wife and I have never celebrated a birthday together before, so we're going to do something together, just the 2 of us. To be specific we'd like to go swimming in a resort in or near Quito. Can anyone recommend one?

Many thanks for your time

Hotel Quito has a swimming pool where day passes are available to the heated pool and spa/jacuzzi.  The restaurant overlooking the city and valley lights has piano music or other live entertainment in the evening.

It is inside the city but the pool and spa area is in a landscaped place behind the hotel so it doesnt feel urban.
