Please i am new in this blog and i would like to ask if anyone has experienced phone interview for HMC through IBM? Please can anyone share his or her experience on this and how long does it take to get official offer letter and next procedure. Thanks in advance for your valuable reply.

Dear Wilson,

I have read so many of your posts on this forum and I feel you will be in the best position to advice me.

I have my Skype interview tomorrow morning with HMC for the post of a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist.

My questions are:

1. What grade is the job position?
2. Is there a specified salary for each grade?
3. Should I expect a salary negotiation tomorrow?
4. I'm married with a 7 months old son, should I negotiate on my family moving with me immediately?

All inputs from other members are welcome.

I had two phone interviews with IBM, scaled through them. I was then told to send in my documents - copies of my certificates, medical license, international passport data page, updated CV and payslips for the past 6 months. One week after, I was sent an invitation for a Skype interview with the HMC panel which is tomorrow morning.

Hi! Based on my experience, tomorrow will be purely skills and procedure/scenarios. (Nurse) latter part of the interview, they will ask you for any question. As far as i know, salary will be written on your job offer and you can sign there if you agree or not.

1. What grade is the job position?
The grade should start from 110 and above depends on your work experience background knowledge of cerner for labnet etc
2. Is there a specified salary for each grade?
Yes all the salaries are specifically decided based on your work experience and above the grade more expected salary.
3. Should I expect a salary negotiation tomorrow?
Hmc delicates will surely ask the expectation, it's up to you to comment based on your years of experience.
Ask them: family housing will be provided villa or leave out( paid monthly housing)
Should give Mandatory: annual tickets for family up to 3 kids and partners/ transportation allowance/ housing  allowance/ risk allowance and annual one month vacation paid salary.

Question Hmc going to provide Kids education allowance?
And I think Hmc is not giving 45k furniture allowances anymore to the new joining staff.

I wish you all the best in your skype interview and i should have advice better but we are in the same process and am expecting schedule for the skype interview as well because i have passed the phone interview from IBM and completed all the assessments. God will be with you during your interview. Regards

I am now at on boarding stage of IBM Kenexa and signed the HMC Contract last September 10. Does anyone knows how long the process of On Boarding process? and after on boarding what will be the next procedure? Thank you guyz. I hope you can help me to this matter.

Sir wilson  do you have any person of contacts to HMC HR deapartment or and his or her email add? Thank you.

The mode of contact is only HR department/ Hmc department or try to ask the recruitment agency the concern Hmc department contact email address

Also I got selected through IBM UAE, and i am also at On Boarding stage, but I heard HMC terminate Contract with IBM, and all ongoing processes handed over to HMC for further assistance, all candidates from IBM are trying to make contact with HMC but there is no answer from them

I want to know, what would be the reason for not responding to our requests?

Dont know why they do not answer the mails but this theory explain too many things.

We have the same situation. I also got the offer last September and now at on boarding stage. I tried to contact the HMC HR and also the IBM but they said wait for the on boarding specialist to contact with us. Is that true that IBM and HMC Contract are terminated? So it means are offered from HMC are also terminated even though we already signed the contract? or is there any chance to continue to process our on boarding process? Thank you very much. I hope you can answer all my queries.

yes I am from the Philippines and got a HMC Contract through IBM Kenexa.

Presently HMC recruting directly they terminated the contract of IbM

I heard it also that hmc terminated the ibm.  So what will happen now to our application. Did your new point of contact response in your email? Thanks

Its transition period beteween IBM and hamad they will inform you the new point of contact

Why Hamad new point of contact is not responding to our email?

Hi,

The HMC should send the offer to the agency and then the agency should send it to you.

Or HMC should send it to the agency and to you at the same time.

Actually, it should take up to a week after you had the interview.

It seems like we all are on the same boat. I had my telephone interview with IBM Last August, then my Skype interview with HMC in October. Last email I heard from HMC Was on the 7th December saying I now had a new contact point with HMC. They said Boarding Team will be in touch. Up to now I haven't received my offer letter.

Has someone been on the same position and got their letter?

Exactly the same history, change your dates for mine and its will be a copy of my last six months of bitter wait.
A week ago new e mail to my point of contact and the answer was: "In mail box is full, your message cannot be delivered".
Then I tried con H.R. : "sorry we cant advice to you about your recruitment process"
The recruiters of IBM neither answer my emails.

In Future hope to see the oil price to go Up or Qatar Ministry will block the budget with  Limited Employee.

unless absolutely finalized ....dont leave your job
there are issues with oil prices and government budget here
Once some institute is laying off employess.....where is question of new appointment ?

Yes you are right but, why they didnt inform us and we have to find out information through this kind of forum.
Most of us were in the final steps of the recruitment at least we deserve an email from them to say "ok, we are not going to recruit you for that and that" and you can go on with others plans.

RIGHT .....I understand agony / anxiety of person who is in final stage of recruitment - many of you must have left previous jobs and planning for future.
However ; let me point out that large government organizations like HMC generally don't reply individually to each and every email - they receive hundreds to thousands of email in their HR department daily ! Also it's difficult to answer all the phone calls coming from all over the world legally and appropriately for each question of caller !
In past 2 months QP - Qatar petrolium - a famous govt org. laid of 3000 expats ....leave alone new recruitment.
Right now this is situation in Qatar and many gulf countries like KSA.
You can wait ....if they need you I am sure they will contact you !
All the best - another advice - you can try in private sector in Doha/Qatar.
