Arriving in Belize in March, probably the 17th, need a place to stay

My partner and I, age 70, and two dogs (one lab and one basenji-mix) will be arriving by car in Belize on or about March 17. This is kinda last minute, but our plans for a place to stay have gone awry. It will be almost too difficult for us to drive from Eugene to Portland, fly from Portland to Puerto Vallarta (where we are staying overnight), rent a car and drive to Belize--and then not be able to find a place to lay our heads. We're not looking for anything high end. We just want something, preferably in or near Corozal, that is quiet and clean and where dogs are allowed. They have no fleas, and we don't either. Actually, we're pretty nice people who are retired and are hoping to make Belize our home. Can you help? Can you tell us who else might have someplace for us to stay for at least a few days but preferably for a long-enough time so we can get situated.

Hi KatharineAndMaurice,

First of all, until other members join the discussion, you can start by posting an ad in the Housing in Belize section.

Thank you :)

Thank you, Marjorie. Someone did answer us, and we've rented a place.
