Hello,

I am visiting Dubai on Eid Al Adha Holidays by road from Saudi Arabia. Does Salik requirement applies to Saudi Vehicles? Do we incur fines without a Salik? Anyone who have visited Dubai without such a tag can please assist me!

Thank YOU

Yes.

Stop by any Gas station around Abudhabi - dubai border. pay 100 Dhs. get one.
Call customer care and register. It will be updated with in one few minutes.

You can also travel with out salik tags. skipping all the salik gates. But it requires some experience in dubai roads.
So better stick one on your front glass. Chances of ending up in salik gates are very high.
In dubai all roads leads to Salik :P

It is extremely important that you purchase Salik to avoid hefty fines

You don't have to unless if you pass the gates only.
