Movie Download Recommendations

I might have a sort of wierd taste when it comes to movies, but here is a list of my recommendations:

Red Cliff (Part 1 & 2)

it's a chinese film, but you can manage it with subtitles.
total run time for both parts will go over 4 hours. so it might take your whole weekend. but it's worth the watch. if you like strategy an war movies that is.

be careful though, lots of blood and violence.

oops, got carried away..

thats what I watched during the past 16 months or so. tell me if you like what I post and I'll add more to it, with different time lines ofcourse.

Try to get Inception, the latest Christopher Nolan film. Also, Shutter Island. Both starring Leonardo di Caprio. He seems to be choosing his films well. Except for Titanic, of course!

Sherlock Holmes is definitely worth watching.

Slumdog Millionaire if you haven't seen it already.

Hot Tub Time Machine (pretty vulgar, maybe more of a stupid "frat boy" movie, but I liked it...)

The Kingdom is a really good movie that involves Saudi Arabia.

Green Zone is a good Middle East movie also.

Tommy Boy with Chris Farley is one of my favorite comedy movies of all time.

Anchorman with Will Farrell is also one of my favs.

LA Confidential is a very good watch.

A movie I WOULD NOT recommend it "The Box" with Cameron Diaz. Worst waste of 2 hours of my life EVER...and that includes the time I spent getting my physical when I first arrived here...

I go to Bahrain regularly to attend the cinema, so download only in preparation for my next move to Afghanistan.

Saw "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" yesterday and hope to see many more in this series/genre.  Bruckheimer special effects really make the movie hum and move along.

Last week saw "Robin Hood", a prequel to the RH legend of Sherwood Forest, so many people are disappointed without classic scenes of mayhem with the Sheriff of Nottingham...but for a "prequel", well done.

Also saw "Solomon Kane" a sci fi/fantasy about a man who renounces violence in an age of sorcerers and magic, only to have to pick up the blade again to save a girl.  Nice cinematography, but a weak and loose script/plot along with some very loose editing didn't make the movie a keeper or one to suggest to others.

The bigger question is, where are you downloading from?  Better choices are always welcome.

PS I got to thinking...better not openly discuss sites we use.

WARNING:  Not for the squeamish!!!

Last night I watched "28 Weeks Later," which is the sequel to
"28 Days Later."  CREEPY stuff!! 

Why are zombies so scary? Because they just keep coming (and the new 'running' zombies are terrifying).

The original was probably the better film but the sequel had a really scary, eerie ending.

What's the good thing about watching zombie movies?  To realize, when it's over, that you're SAFE!
