Hello everyone, i am just starting with my visa application so i am so way off arriving in Australia with my family but there are many questions we have and i am hoping that you can give me a few pointers?

I work in the commercial vehicle (truck & trailer) market and i would like to continue in the same field. We currently like the look of Brisbane and Melbourne, Melbourne seems to have a lot of automotive business / industries, does Brisbane have the same?

More importantly which do think is better suited to a family with 2 boys aged 9 and 3?

A lot more questions to come but we will leave it there for now, thanks to everyone who replies and hopefully i will speak to you all in the future:)

Cheers

Phil

In relation to Melbourne vs Brisbane with kids, both cities would be great for raising kids. It just depends on what lifestyle you would like.
Brisbane is warmer, has a lot more beaches, lots of theme parks there etc.
Melbourne is very diverse, multi-cultural, lots of great places to eat and a great city to live in.

I guess the suburb you choose to live in, will also impact your experiance.

Good luck!
