Vehicles entering Valletta during weekends will no longer be charged the customary Controlled Vehicular Access (CVA) charges, the government announced.

In an effort to increase business during the busy Christmas period, the government announced the measure during last month's budget. The government, through Transport Malta, will now implement the scheme to encourage visitors to flock to Valletta.

If only there was somewhere to park in Valletta city.
We find it much easier to use the multi-storey car park just outside the bus station.
No hassle, in the shade and a park all day for €5!
