It all depends on what you're going to do. Will you be janitor or CEO?
Taxes and other deductions depend on your personal circumstances so that's also difficult to say.

Hi , I am a software Test engineer with 5+ years of experience in automotive , embedded domain

This site would be a good starting point for your research: http://www.gehalt.de/einkommen/suche/software-ingenieur

@chiku

The base template of costs and the main ones in my opinion would be ;

> Accommodation (furnished or unfurnished)
> Commuting to and from work,
> Food expenses
> A vehicle (if needed)
> Tax of the country you live in

Then the other costs can be related to your life style..

> Entertainment (socializing, going out + eating out)
> Holiday

This is just a general outline.

Benefits, i'd push for is paid flight cost home (annually) & Medical cover.

Hope this helps.

Taxes and other deductions depend very heavily on your personal situation. Thus no company in Germany will offer you a guaranteed nett salary - you always negotiate gross salary!
You can estimate the deductions on http://www.brutto-netto-rechner.info (only in German). Some of them you may get back (again depending on your personal situation) at the end of the year. The system is VERY complicated and only a professional tax consultant (whom you'll need anyway to prepare the yearly tax declaration) can realistically explain it.
