Has anyone had any experience living/visiting Machala. It's hard to find any information on this area. Particularly, home rentals. Thanks, we look forward to possibly visiting for 3 weeks next spring and partake in the beauty and Ecuador and it's people.

I consider Machala a very dangerous humid place.

The beach is not good an mainly is a industrial port for bananas and another ecuadorian exports.

There's some nice, expensives gated condos where the rich people can live with a tight security system.
