Hi
I am Portugues and my boyfriend American. He got a jod in the oilfield and we arrived on Saturday. At the moment we got an house already...really expensive!!!amazed with the prices....wonder if we can buy clothes online 
Any advice for Norwegian intensive courses? I am a nurse and need to learn fast to be able to work!

You could for instance take a ferry trip from Stavanger to Denmark, I think it's to Frederikshavn , small town , however you will find cheaper clothes and other things in Denmark than in Norway.
People living in Oslo on the other hand might go to Sweden for shopping.
Alternatively, try a 2nd hand store - there is no shame in buying used clothes, many Scandinavians do, especially students and pensioners.
