Cost of Living in Abuja Nigeria

I got a job offer in Abuja, Nigeria for $90K a year (2010) for a family of 4. Is this worth it. I have to get my own housing and car. Thinking of living my family in USA

Hello.

USD 90K p.a in Abuja is not enough, don't take it. I have been doing some searching myself, a decent house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a servants room) range between USD 40K to USD 90K per year, and you have to pay rental for 2 years upfront.

My take is that you accept the offer on condition that housing, car, driver, medical care and flights back home are covered by the employer. Abuja is very expensive, also secure at least USD20k to set up the house in Abuja (furniture and stuff).
