I am a mechanical engr wirking in karachi for past 7 yrs. I am moving to perth prety soon i need help in settling down. i am moving with my husband and 2yr old son. How long would it take me to get a suitable job and where should i seek a rental? are there any desi's who invite paying guests? I dont know absolutely anyone there.

Do you have a work visa ? You will need this before you come over.

Do not think it is easy to find work here. You will have to be sponsored for a 457 visa. Look online at Australian Govt websites for information.
