yes the Doha Stone is true!!!
All the fast food places deliver and the gyms are really expensive epsecially those in the hotels. During the summer it is too hot to walk around so you either stay indoors or drive. its nicer in the winter months so you could jog along the corniche (thats what i did)
Basically keep an eye on what you eat (fruit and veg are expensive in supermarkets), drink lots of water even in the winter and join a gym
