5 good reasons for living in Colombia

That's a good one, I think you have to have lived in a Country for longer than I have (11 months) to be sure of this one, however I'll give it a go!

1. Love - my wife has Family here, they are very close, I am retired and have no ties elsewhere, so it would be selfish to ask her to move.

2. Cost of Living -  My pension goes much further here, than it ever did in Europe.

3. Cost of housing - Property here is really cheap, if you don't buy from another ExPat.

4. Great scenery, even when in the Cities, you can see the mountains, having come from the mountains of Spain, I felt at home here from day one.

5. Despite it's problems, there are many wonderful people in this country, I take my fair share of Gringo jokes, but on the whole most people I have met, have been very friendly and helpful. (unless you want to buy something, then they will try it on!)
