Welcome Tasha in Advance !! :) Wishing you a nice stay at Riyadh.....

Sandy- storm & Saimans,

Thank you for your kind wishes. A little background on myself. I am British of Indian origin, male, married and my wife first joined this site hence tasha as the member name (is there a way the member name can be changed?) wanted to clear the confusion of female name/ male member:D

I work in healthcare

My company is putting me in temporary accommodation and then I will hopefully move to a compound- reading from the housing posts looks like I am in for a tough time trying to get into a compound.

I enjoy travelling, meeting new friends, eating out and looking forward to the desert heat ( it's so cold in the uk)

Hi Tasha,

I have been in Riyadh for about 6 months. I have taken many photos - sarahali.us/photos-of-the-middle-east.html you may want to check out.Well, you certainly will be away from the rainy weather, it is awfully hot now. It does tend to rain after sand storms though. There is a vibrant expat community in Riyadh. Many people like to go on "hashes".

Cheers,
Sarah

Yes you can change the name, do get in touch with the team, They might help you on that.

BTW you can leave this name and create your own new name since you are only 2 posts old as of now, I dont see any harm in that !! :)

Hi Sarahali

Nice shoes- do they come in a size 10?

Yes heard about the hashes which sound like great fun- will definitely be going on one of those when i get out there.

Saimans- me and my wife use the same email address and it won't allow you to create another without a new email address so any help in getting the name changed and pointing me to the correct person would be great
