If you are going to earn more than 1.5 Million NOK per year, this country is not fit for you as an Expat. Because 51 to 55 % is tax and there is ZERO BENEFIT to expat for the tax that you are paying. This country is good for low income / middle income people who live here for years as thet enjoy lots of benifit from Goevernment from money taken from expat.

Remember whatever the cold or rain , no one will stop his/her car to give you a lift ! too much in-humane !!

You will be able to introduce to people in your office only during office hrs !

WELCOME  to Norway , live and pay tax and pay high expenses of home rent, children schooling and others !!

Repeat no BENIFIT to EXPAT in this country, just pay income tax and late on pay high VAT from yoru tax free income - say 25 % so you will have about 37 % of gross salary in hand to survive !!

Happy taxing !!

37% of 1,500,000 = 555,000kr.  First world problems? ;)
