I shall be starting a second 50% position as of next week and was wondering if any one knows if i will pay more tax as i have a second job?

Hello! As far as I know, you will pay 36% of what you earn, doesn't matter the sum. But I'm not sure 100%. Better call Skatteetaten +47 22077000 and push the button for English information, and simply ask the person who answer to put you on the line with an English speaker operator. At least for me they were really helpful. Good luck!

If you make under 150,000 kr per year you pay 17%. Anything over that is 36%. They tax by total yearly income, not job percentage.
