Let's talk about facts because you will find as many different opinions as people who reply to you !
The big part of the crisis is behind us, but the tension is still here. You will find some check points when you travel in Manama. Around some troubled area, at night, you might hear some fights and even sometimes smell teargas !
That's true. Beyond that, expats are safe and have never been targeted in anyway. You must just avoid the demonstrations and gathering, and try to find an accommodation in a quiet area and you will be quite fine !
