Hi Ray.

Well, it depends what do you want to do?
You have a lot of restaurants, you have bars and lounges in hotels, you have the Corniche to do some running and ride the dhow, you have the beaches, you have the malls (I highly recommend Villagio and Landmark), you have the Souq Waqif (wait for the spring festival), you can go ride sand buggies, camels and go on a desert safari, you have Katara and the Pearl :)

and that's about it :)

Hi Ray.
I'm glad you are enjoying Doha! Good for you :)

No, I left for Manila last June, and I'm my vacation. Haha. I will go out of the country again soon, maybe I will come back.

You can also check out the Misfir sinkhole, its a small cave near the Saudia Arabian border. Also, if you have the whole day, you can rent a tourist guide with a car, I forgot the name but we toured the northern part of Qatar for around 6-7 hours.

250 QAR per person, we were three. The tour company said if we had been 4 people, it would only be 225. :)

I think we saw the ad for the tour in Marhaba.

Hey Ray. I'm great :) Enjoy Doha! I hear they're selling pork already.:))

Yes Gen,

There is now selling pork
i think being in doha kind of boring bcoz after some days no more place to go hehehe

nnuythjg

Well, when I was there, I did a lot of things to keep me busy. If you enjoy volunteering, you can join a couple of organizations and spend your time doing voluntary work. It's rewarding and there are amazing people that got to be my friends, random strangers that you get to meet along the way. :)
