Getting 2 light fitting connected and to sockets put on as I am terrified of electricity but want to know how much it will cost. Could anyone have a rough estimate

hi is there existing lights and sockets in place, or does the job need all new cables run back to the board, if the latter what’s the distance from the various light and socket points back to the board.

Given that the cables run inside the walls/ceilings and take who knows what routes to the fuse box(es), how on earth do you expect her to answer that question?

I think you need to give more information, is it rewiring for existing fittings, or installing new fittings?

@anetwhelan Your situation will be completely different, but late last year I had a bunch of new sockets and two new light fittings and switches installed, new breaker board to replace the old one, new wiring from the front of the house to the back, and wiring put in for a new hot water system, and it cost 450 leva including the materials.

So what you need should hopefully cost a lot less than that!

@JimJ

Its an appropriate measure no need for exact come on think before you write…

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Cables are all there and 2 circuit boards. One downstairs. One up. The cables are all chanelled in. Just needed 2 rooms for light and power for now. A friendly neighbour helped me.
