Is return ticket compulsory while entering Brazil on a tourist visa

Hello everyone,Bom dia .

Can someone confirm me if it's compulsory to present a return ticket at immigration while entering Brazil on a tourist visa (VITEM XI).

I have relatives in Brazil and my return dates are not sure still . It may be anywhere between a week to a month maximum.

I'm flying to Brazil from panama today . Can anyone pls confirm this requirement to enter Brazil .

Hello!!! No, this is not mandatory !!

However if you apply for a tourist Visa the consulate might ask you a return ticket!
