Great Channel to engage in the Portuguese language

this Dude is a history writer, and formerly a jornalist from the Zero Hora Daily in Porto Alegre-RS. He has published several books himself.

He put together a decent Youtube Channel, mostly on Brazilian history, facts, entities, historical periods, people of relevance.

He is kind of wacky and off the wall, and being a Gaucho, manages to speak in excelent Portuguese, without being pedant or smug or boring.

He lives in Rio de Janeiro.

His speech quirks are kind of amusing, and he is borderline colorful. At times, he claims how smart he is against your median Brazilian, but does this in good stead. Kind of owning the insult and yet people seem to love it. And he is kind of frantic in front of the screen, with lots of pop up props, sound vignettes.

His antics on the screen, specially when he is either ranting or enraged, are comical. Nonetheless he manages to put together good factual and chronological exposition on his broached subjects.

Average video run about 30 minutes, give or take it.

His name is Eduardo Bueno, and even if ....

the video shots ( Buenas Ideias ) are all in Portuguese, so it is sink or swim

his English command on the  pronunciation of words is lame

and he leans towards left....

He is what the Doctor ordered if

1.You want to pick up on your Portuguese and needs something entertaining to watch

2.History is your cup of tea.

3.You are just plain tired of the average idiot Brazilian Vlogger who starts with the "E Ai Galera" babblering nonsense.
