Over the past 12 years with the Denham Hospitality Organization, I have held increasingly progressive roles including my current position as Night Auditor. In this role, I routinely demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills as I seek to resolve customer issues and complaints. I am also responsible for security of the hotel, which also includes training of new staff, along with the being an assistant to the Front office Manager to the day-to-day operations of the Guest Service Desk. As a Night Auditor, I have prepared and monitored the daily accounting records and nightly cash balancing of the Denham Inn for submission to Hotel Management. As a Team Lead I was called upon to solve guest problems and think fast on the spot based on the problem resolution modle.
I also have extensive experience in sales of the hotel industry and would be a asset to your organization. I have demonstrated that I can be learned on in any situation and several team members look to me for advice and guidance with the property management system and problems that may arise. In addition to my other responsibilities, I am also a member of the Alberta Hotel Safety Association, part of my responsibilities includes completing tours and audits of various Hotel's every three years in the area to ensure compliance with Association health and safety program standards.
