Learning information as much as you can in a chosen field is the best move. Determine the organization and how to become a member so as you can have access to events and to start networking.

And if you have no experience, you can start volunteering for a task relevant to your field.

Thought the subject title of this thread would be relevant to my enquiry, so here goes:

I am a fresh graduate, currently in my first job. I am very interested in getting a job in Canada and eventually live there.

I would like to ask if participating in a work holiday programme in Canada would help in getting the "canadian work experience", which has been indicated in many job requirements for foreigners?
I have stayed in Calgary, Canada for 4 months during a Student Exchange Programme, but am doubtful that this would suffice as having the "canadian experience".

I am also wondering if there are any counsellors from agencies dealing with migration to canada. If there are, please recommend!!

Certainly if you can arrange for a working holiday in Canada it would help you to build up some Canadian work experience that will improve your chances of finding a permanent job in Canada.

It will also give you the opportunity to do some job hunting and see what kind of permanent job you can land.
