Organization: Transitions (www.tol.org)

Location: Prague

Hours: 15-20 hours per week

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Manage Editorial Interns: Interview, onboard, mentor, and conduct brief weekly check-ins; maintain intern roster and coordinate evaluations with universities.

Oversee Editorial Calendar: Manage publishing schedule in Asana, assign posting days, track pitches, and fill content gaps.

Edit & Prepare Articles: Conduct first-round edits on reported pieces and prepare partner content for final copy edit; source images and ensure style consistency.

Produce Weekly Newsletter: Draft, build, and schedule newsletter in Mailchimp; write subject lines and story blurbs.

Process Invoices: Prepare and organize freelancer invoices and track grant-funded payments.

 

Qualifications

Strong editing and organizational skills

Experience with editorial workflows

Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently

Familiarity with WordPress and Mailchimp

Full professional working proficiency in English
