Expat.com is looking for a freelance writer to update our Mauritius Expat Guide — a go-to resource for anyone moving to or living on the island.

Who we're looking for:

• You're an expat currently living in Mauritius, with firsthand knowledge of what it's really like to settle in and build a life here.
• You're comfortable writing in English or French, and you know how to make practical information clear, reliable, and easy to navigate.

Your role:

• Review our existing Mauritius guide
• Fact-check and update outdated information (housing, healthcare, work, lifestyle, etc.)
• Add new sections where relevant, based on what's changed and what today's expats need to know
