Spring in Miami

Carnivals and the Calle Ocho Festival are held during spring in Miami, every year.

Summer in Miami

Summer is usually sweltering but endurable. There are high heat and humidity during this time. The temperature range is about 80°F (27°C) and above. There are various indoor activities you can engage yourself with under chilled air conditioning during this hot period. These different indoor games and shows are needful during extreme heat and unbearable days under the sun. You should expect afternoon thunderstorms at times too.

You will need an umbrella for very sunny days, a few rain jacket and poncho as a thunderstorm expectant.

Fall in Miami

The fall is often tagged 'Post-summer' period in Miami. All the extreme sun goes back to lovely tropical weather. You should expect rain almost all the time. Rainfall through September is on a high frequency. However, Miami is sunny most of the time. During the fall season, tourists and vacationers do not travel much into Miami. For this reason, flights are cheaper, and airport activities are less busy.

What you should pack

Stock your luggage with proper clothing to avoid the rain: rain gear, socks, and shoes. Surprisingly, nighttime weather is conducive. You will need light jackets and soft pants for evening activities.

Hotel and transportation industries make lots of profit at this time. You should prepare for traffic around the heart of the city.

Clothes that prevent cold and freeze injury should be much, jackets and light sweater are essential for evening outings. Tight shoes and a few flip flops are needed too. You are likely to meet new people as well.
